This shirt is made from soft, non-stretch viscose. It is lightweight and breathable but not thin.

This shirt has a straight "masculine" cut, but features gussets at the side seams, which can be unbuttoned to expand the hip area for an improved fit.

My new favorite shirt

I love this shirt so much! It's comfortable and looks great! I've gotten lots of compliments both times I've with it so far.

Comfortable and comforting

A cozy shirt that goes with nearly anything, and subtle enough to work in professional and public settings alike.

Astronaut button down

I love it. The pattern and fabric are amazing. My only note, that add a large chested woman, is sewn strange around the arms. Like really far down the side rather than up in the pit area. It's not bad with my arms down but once I lift my arms up it pulls across my chest leaving me self conscious about the buttons. I can live with it since I mostly do desk work, it was just a surprise when I tried it on. Other than that it fits great and is quite breathable.

Perfect size and fit! Loved the colors and little details, and the tiny astronauts are constantly bringing me joy when I see them while wearing it. My mom (who writes scifi!) liked it so much when she saw my shirt that she bought one for herself!

mixed feelings

I really want to say I love this shirt. The weight and texture of the fabric is perfect, the pattern is adorable and so very *me*. And the gussets at the hips are ingenious!
However the fit is.... Really bizarre. It's long, for one, which isn't usually a bad thing, except that it's *really* long. And so are the arm holes? But that doesn't actually make it easier for me to move my arms -- instead the fabric pulls noticably across my chest and bunches up around my shoulders. It's just odd to have such a flowy and large shirt feel *constricting* the way this one does.
I've attached some pictures because the fit's hard to describe. For reference, my shoulders have a measurement of 19" and my bust is 45". I bought an XL, which I was afraid would be too big as it's supposed to have a chest measurement of 48" and a shoulder width of 20". Now, I haven't measured the shirt yet myself but based on the fit, I'd say I have more than 1" of wiggle room across the shoulders and certainly less than 4" through the chest. I'm hoping it fits better when I have a binder on, otherwise I'll have to plan on only wearing it unbuttoned which will be a bummer :/

EDIT: Double checked the sizing chart and it does say 48" for an XL. However the tag attached to my shirt lists the chest measurement as 46"...
When layed flat and measured, I get 24" across -- or 48" around -- at the bottom of the arm hole -- which is not where the widest part of my chest is. That's at approximately the third button down. When I take the measurement there, I get a measurement of 18" across from sleeve seam to sleeve seam. Normally I'd want that measurement to be 22" min. This is why it fits better when I wear a binder, which gets my chest measurement down to 41". The sleeves still pull funny, but I don't get gaping at the buttons holes. I think the fit would be fine if the arm holes were 20-22" instead of 26".
Anyway, I know this review is really long but I just wanted to provide the measurements and context for my comments. The last two photos are of me wearing a binder.
