Fabric Composition: LENZING Viscose EV 95%, Elastane / Spandex / Polyurethane 5%

These skirts are made of Ecovero Viscose. Ecovero Viscose is a cellulose-based fabric made from wood sourced from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified and sustainably managed forests. The cellulose fibers are biodegradable and compostable in home compost.

Made in Turkey in a Supplier Ethical Data Exchange and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified factory. SEDEX certifies ethical labor practices and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certifies responsible textile production, ensuring there are no harmful substances present.

Perfect!

Can't wear pants anymore bc of GI issues. This skirt (and many of my other Maya Kern skirts) are super comfy and amazing to wear at work! This black one in particular pairs very well with button downs.

Of note- the "A" size for this seems to generally have much tighter elastic than the "A" size of the patterned skirts.

Great for the office!

I love wearing this solid color skirt to the office or on the weekend paired with my graphic t-shirts. The black color is a nice true black color. The fabric is thinner than the patterned mayakern skirts and clings more. It has a more cotton-like feel than the patterned skirts. Still super smooth and silky to touch though. Drapes super lovely, lots of flowy movement thanks to the generous amount of fabric. The huge pockets are great as always. Even when I'm just moving around the house, it's nice to easily carry things in my pockets when I move to a different room. Very happy with my purchase! And now my mother wants this skirt and the fig midiskirt after trying on mine.

Extremely Versatile

It's so comfortable to wear and works with so many outfits, and the pockets give it an edge above other skirts. It's my go to black skirt!

Best skirt ever?

Probably, yes. The fabric is beautifully soft, with a perfect weight for a lovely flow, the fit is exactly as expected, and the pockets are as wonderful as in her other skirts. The solid color gives such great versatility, I’m definitely planning to buy more!
