While I love the print, this shirt was not for me. Despite the clever adjustable gussets, the fit was not a good match for my body shape. For reference I typically wear women’s size 16 bottoms and large or extra large tops, with a pear of shaped body. I ordered an XL. This was too loose in the shoulders while being more fitted than I like on the bust and tummy.
I also like to wear my collared shirts with the sleeves rolled, and unfortunately the print was, of course, only on the outside, which I didn’t think about when I purchased. I think for the right person this would be an excellent garment but for me, I will be passing it along to someone else.
I’m very disappointed simply because again I love the print. I would just recommend you check measurements more closely than I did before purchasing.
Super comfortable, exactly the fit and look I've wanted from a skirt for a very long time! And with huge pockets! Both the L and the XL Affogato skirts fit me. The L can feel tight sometimes, but very heavy things in the pockets won't cause the skirt to fall down. The XL will sag more if I overload the pockets, but never feels tight. So far I like both, but prefer the L.
I love the cotton and the pleats, I love the color, and I love the length. My only feedback is that the front of the waistband tends to fold over and get a little crooked, but that’s not a big deal. A high-quality skirt!
Used it for a semi-cosplay, with skull spiked bracelets and such :)
I found through the day that the pockets were so spacious and the waistband reliable enough that I forgot some of the things I put in them.
It was as a promising enough experience I went ahead and ordered another skirt and put in requests to be lined up for two of the other upcoming ones.
