I Want To Eat The Strawberries But Alas I Cannot

The design is so scrumptious, I'm so giddy wearing it. Bright yellow lined with juicy strawberries with the biggest leaves and abundant white flowers? My compliments to the chefs, Rii Abrego and the MK team. You're all cooking!!

I was hesitant to get it because I was told the color would clash with my skin tone/profile or undertone or astrology sign. But I decided to follow my heart (and maybe my stomach and bias for strawberries) and I'm so glad I did.

I genuinely experienced gender euphoria wearing this and the Daisy Circles skirts, both in S size. The new waistband/panel is holding very tightly as promised--no slippage or constant adjusting throughout the day. The pockets are beeg so I be losing things in there but not losing things out there (in the world) lol. No sagging regardless so waistband is stronk. Silky and flowy like all MK skirts, I'm twirling extra just for fun.

10/10 would shop clothes with my stomach again, -10/10 for not being able to eat these strawberry designs irl

Love the New Waistband

This is my first skirt with the new style of waistband, and I really love it. It manages to be a lot more secure without feeling too tight and makes it easier to put heavier or bulkier things in the pockets that might have weighed down the older style.

Jury Duty? More Like Daisy Duty!

I was excited to see the new waistband and this purple-ish gray color (accurate to photos) + simple yet cute daisy design was perfect for a festival outfit I was planning. I also decided to dress up for jury duty after getting the skirt because why not? Actually wearing it genuinely gave me gender euphoria (and the gender? CUTE AF SKIRT).

I felt so much joy walking in the courthouse as the skirt (S size) flowed around my legs so silkily and the waistband held very tight as promised. I didn't have a single slippage or had to adjust constantly which often happened with my 1 other older MK skirt--still love to wear it ofc but the new waistband is a game changer.

It was hot out where I live (75+ degrees F in the morning, 80-90 in the afternoon), but I wasn't feeling warm with the skirt on outside and it was perfect for keeping the chill away from my bare legs in the super air conditioned indoors--felt just right.

Huge pockets are a plus and I didn't worry about my phone falling out when walking about (actually had to dig for it a bit because the pocket be so deep lol).

I can't remember the last time I felt good walking in the courthouse for jury duty. 10/10 worth every penny.

Comfy and cute

As always, I am thrilled with the quality of the materials and construction of Maya's items. I am 2X (US 20) and 5'7 and this dress hits just above my knee, a perfect length for me to be able to wear it to work without needing full leggings underneath. There is no gaping or stretching around the buttons at my bust or tummy, and I can fit everything I need in the pockets! The fabric is opaque and feels sturdy, no need for a slip or additional coverage, and the pattern doesn't stretch or distort awkwardly. I can't wait for more pattern options in this style!
