I was excited to see the new waistband and this purple-ish gray color (accurate to photos) + simple yet cute daisy design was perfect for a festival outfit I was planning. I also decided to dress up for jury duty after getting the skirt because why not? Actually wearing it genuinely gave me gender euphoria (and the gender? CUTE AF SKIRT).
I felt so much joy walking in the courthouse as the skirt (S size) flowed around my legs so silkily and the waistband held very tight as promised. I didn't have a single slippage or had to adjust constantly which often happened with my 1 other older MK skirt--still love to wear it ofc but the new waistband is a game changer.
It was hot out where I live (75+ degrees F in the morning, 80-90 in the afternoon), but I wasn't feeling warm with the skirt on outside and it was perfect for keeping the chill away from my bare legs in the super air conditioned indoors--felt just right.
Huge pockets are a plus and I didn't worry about my phone falling out when walking about (actually had to dig for it a bit because the pocket be so deep lol).
I can't remember the last time I felt good walking in the courthouse for jury duty. 10/10 worth every penny.
