To start, I purchased this shirt because I love the neutral Hiss from a Rose design. I am not usually a neutrals girlie but something about the soft brown palette spoke to me and I knew it would be a perfect shirt to dress up with slacks or down with denim.
Regarding the fit, I put the fear of God into myself by buying a Large without reading the chart. I wear a 38DD. This means my measurements are approximately a 38" underbust with a 43" bust. So, by that logic, the 45" Large should fit, right? Well....the 4" inch difference in the model descriptions sent me into a spiral of potential gapping PANIC. So, when the shirt arrived, I stripped down and tried on the shirt to discover two things:
1. The fabric is HELLA comfortable and stretches more than I anticipated.
2. There is absolutely NO chest gapping. Not a bit. It fits like a dream and my distress was for naught.
The ONLY issue I have is that when my shirt is tucked, it does like to gap at the waistband where the material likes to bunch....but I have that with all of my button ups. Nothing to restructure an entire garment for.
Well done to Maya and team for creating such a beautiful button up and I cannot wait to start wearing it more for the fall season!
