Bee Button-Down Shirt

i got loads of compliments on it!! very cute piece to have for all year round!

I adore this shirt so much, the pattern is so cute (the pocket bee??? amazing! Actually my favorite thing!) and the fabric is so nice - I wore this working a big event and it is genuinely the best thing I've worn for not overheating. (as a bonus this is super cute paired with the sunflower skirt I also got around the same time as this shirt arrived)

I have a difficult body shape to shop for because I'm petite, broad-shouldered, and I have a G/H-cup bust. I bought these shirts because I enjoy wearing androgynous clothes, loved the patterns and I was excited to see there were hooks to keep the buttons closed in the bust area, since I always have problems with the shirt popping open. The good news is that the clasp closures work as intended and that the buttons stay closed. I also really like the patterns and the quality of the garments. The only downside is that the medium is a little bit big on me everywhere but the shoulders and the bust, and the bust is actually slightly too tight. The buttons stay closed but only because of the hard work the clasp hooks are doing. If I sized up to a large I know I would be drowning in it everywhere else. Still, these shirts do a lot better job at keeping my bust covered than a lot of ones I've tried and I can't fault them for given the difficulty of my body shape.

I was very excited to receive the Bee pattern shirt! Its very well made and seems sturdy. My only disappointment is that, although I ordered a 3XL, which is what I usually wear, it fits more like a 2XL, especially across the stomach. I would just order up a size next time! Otherwise I love it

I pre-ordered the bee shirt back when the button-ups were announced, so there was a bit of a wait between order and arrival. But it was 100% worth the wait - the shirt material is comfortable and a little stretchy, and the inner hooks are a genius way to prevent gaping. The pattern is cute, but not too arresting, so I can even wear it to work! I've gotten many compliments while wearing it.
